Darwin’s Finches
The Small Tree-finches (Camarhynchus parvulus) belongs to the Darwin’s finch group of the tanager family Thraupidae.
It is endemic to the Galapagos Islands – a group of volcanic islands distributed around the equator in the Pacific Ocean, 972 km west of continental Ecuador. It inhabits subtropical or tropical dry forests and shrubland.
