Rufous-backed Kingfishers (Ceyx rufidorsa)

The Rufous-backed Kingfishers (Ceyx rufidorsa) are solitary River Kingfishers found in Brunei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand in tropical lowland forests near lakeshores and streamsides.

This kingfisher typically hunts from a low perch over water by diving for insects and frogs.
