The Red-bellied Fruit-doves (Ptilinopus greyii) is found in New Caledonia, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. This bird species inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

These green doves have bright red foreheads – the red extending to over the crown. Only males have a red belly. Females and immature birds are green all over, except for the red forehead / crown.
