Grebes
Photo Wanted

The Madagascar Grebes (Tachybaptus pelzelnii) occur naturally in western and central Madagascar.

This species is considered Vulnerable, as less than 5,000 of them are believed to still exist in the wild. Habitat destruction and predation by carnivorous fish are mostly blamed for the decline in its population.
