What eats hedgehogs?

What do hedgehogs eat?

When faced with a predator, also known as a natural enemy, a hedgehog tries to avoid being eaten by curling into a ball with its sharp hairs, known as quills, pointing outward.

Animals that eat hedgehogs include birds of prey such as hawks and owls. Foxes, ferrets and weasels also kill and eat hedgehogs. However, a lot of animals steer clear of them because of those sharp quills, which are similar to the ones on a porcupine.

And, what does a hedgehog eat? Hedgehogs eat a variety of foods including insects, fruits and other types of vegetation.
